Ethan became a guy who could sleep anywhere, even while standing or running. However, nothing could be more comfortable than a good night's sleep in his bedroom. Also, as expected, since he has been using Zen, his nightmares are being under control. However, that was probably temporary. If Ethan just keeps relieving the same memories over and over again, the nightmares are bound to return.

"Let's leave my future problems to the future me," Ethan muttered once he woke up.

After breakfast, Ethan headed to the school. Although there wasn't much to do on Mondays, he still cursed his bad luck. The first person he found was Ian… Fortunately, he was happily chatting with Lyla and he didn't notice that he was walking a few meters behind them.

"I was planning to use Zen during the classes, but since my new courses will start this week, I can't just ignore the first classes. Emily also is new to them, so I can't expect her to give me the main points of each subject."

Hopefully, Ethan was going to learn things pretty fast. Otherwise, not only would he have to stay in the E rank for much longer than he needed, but he also will be forced to use Zen and relive those lessons later. He wanted to avoid it for obvious reasons since Ethan would have to relive all his time in Hedo first. Although that would be beneficial in some aspects, Ethan didn't want to refresh those memories… not while he is on Earth and there is no war to be fought, at least. Still, Ethan couldn't stay away from Ian for long. After all, they were about to have the same classes.

"Good morning," Emily said after suddenly appearing. "You look as deadpan as always. Aren't you excited that you are going to have new courses?"

"No," Ethan readily replied."I guess not," Emily sighed. "You can't imagine how much frustrating it is to be unable to have endured the same classes over and over again for six months."

Ethan really couldn't imagine. Still, Emily looked too excited. Although she had already fulfilled her job as a summoned hero, it looked like she still had some use for her powers. Or, at the very least, she wanted to use them to achieve something. That was quite weird since Ethan couldn't imagine what Emily would or wanted to do with her powers. Asking seemed like a pain because Ethan knew that the goals of summoned heroes were anything but simple. Since his own goal still was very far away from him, Ethan decided not to get involved.

"I think I have graduated from just running," Emily said. "Thanks to your boots, I can run nonstop for two hours just fine. I want to raise the bar a little. What do you recommend?"

"Try to run as fast as possible for two hours," Ethan said. "That should be a good goal."

Emily frowned when she heard that, but it made sense since she could run at an average speed for two hours. Still, that seemed pointless and boring. Ethan didn't know her for long, but he knew enough to understand those thoughts.

"You can also increase your stamina by trying to hit some targets while you run," Ethan said. "That seems less pointless to you?"

"Yes, it does," Emily said.

Ethan didn't know if she had mentioned it before, but Emily also joined Lyla's course of sword dancing. In the end, the new course was just a bit better than the previous one. However, the fancy movements were still there, and that was something that Ethan would never apply to his fighting style. After that class, Ethan went alone to his Archery course, and then he finally began to learn something new… how to fire two arrows at the same time.

"Now that I think about it, I never saw anyone using this kind of technique in Hedo. Maybe it is because I always found long-ranged fighters annoying, and I always took them out first."

Although Ethan's skill with a bow has been improving, he had a hard time learning that technique. Things could become simple if he learns a skill, but he never obtains the notification on the first day. Regardless, after the second class, Ethan was free, and he reunited with Emily and Ian once again.

"Let's see how things are on the other side and help them a little bit," Ian said, and then he sent a message to his father.

After waiting for a few seconds, those three were teleported to that planet. Now that he thought about it, Ethan began to wonder where in the heck Ivan was getting so much mana to be able to teleport three people back and forth every day to that planet. In any case, such thoughts disappeared from his head because things were rather noisy in the camp.

When Ethan turned around, he saw Ivan nonchalantly watching the mercenaries shouting something at Maerys and her people. There was no fight or sign of battles, and maybe thanks to it, the Clannian were just ignoring them.

"Did something happen?" Emily asked.

"The mercenaries are complaining that things are proceeding well for them," Anna replied. "They are using too many resources to fight."

ραπdα nᴏνa| com "Now that I think about it, where the heck are they getting so much ammo?" Emily asked.

"Father is getting for them," Anna replied. "He is using half of the money the mercenaries got with magic stones to buy the things they need. However, thanks to it, they are annoyed that the Clannian are able to fight without using anything aside from their mana and the crossbows Ethan gave them. Noticing that they are obtaining even more magic stones than them, the mercenaries got jealous and angry."

"Speaking of which, what are you going to do with the magic stones they are getting?" Ethan asked. "Most of their technologies have been lost, so I don't think they have any use for the magic stones."

"They said that we can have them as thanks for the help," Anna replied. "Even though Father already said that he is going to pay them their fair part."

"With money from Earth?" Ethan frowned. "I don't think they will have any use for it."

"Are you dumb?" Anna asked. "He will give them some magic tools that will help them rebuild their society once we complete this mission."
