"Uoh!"
"We follow Your Majesty!"
"Long Live Eulja."
"Long Live Spirit King!"
The cheers kept coming every second, turning the entire Eulja turmoil. No one had ever forgotten what Alexander Sirius had done in the past, and the same person, although a reincarnated one, just showed that he had the same personality. And in fact, he was better.
Alex raised his hand while clenching his fists, asking them to stop cheering for a second as he had something to say.
The Spirits began to stop chattering and looked at him, wondering what he had hidden this whole time for this coronation.
"I am thankful and honored to be with you. That's why I have one announcement to make." Alex smiled and raised his hand. "If you feel that you are lacking something and want to improve yourself, raise your hand."
In the room, everyone was stunned after hearing that question. Unlike the previous speech, they couldn't understand Alex's real intention by asking this question.
Suddenly, a Spirit raised his hand. The Spirit was a leopard that seemed to be a Beastly Class Spirit. Next to him was a Humanoid Spirit. He noticed that the one beside him had raised his hand before quickly helping him lower his hand before everyone other than Alex noticed.
The Humanoid Spirit seemed to be of the same tribe.
Before he did anything, Alex already waved his hand, asking him to stop by using his Spiritual Energy.
The Humanoid Spirit's body shook and looked at Alex with fear as if they had done something wrong. He quickly prostrated in front of Alex and begged. "Your Majesty. My brother is ignorant. Please forgive. I can receive any punishment in exchange for his life."
Alex walked toward him as everyone in the room began to turn around, focusing on this Leopard Spirit.
When Alex arrived in front of him, he shook his head. Bending his knees, he patted the Humanoid Leopard Spirit. "I asked for it. There was nothing wrong with that. What is your name?"
"Elgar from the Leopard Spirit Tribe," He hurriedly answered him.
Alex nodded and turned to the leopard beside him, asking. "What is your name?"
The leopard suddenly spoke to him, feeling bad about his brother. It was just a pure instinct that he raised his hand because of everything he had seen before coming here.
"Edgar. Your Majesty, please don't—"
Alex stopped him before he apologized like his brother. "You did nothing wrong. I asked who felt that way and you raised your hand. Edgar… May I know why you feel you are lacking?"
The leopard hesitated for a few seconds before he answered him. "I was supposed to be the next Patriarch for the Leopard Spirit Tribe due to me being able to reach Uncommon Spirit Class and know how to speak.
"However, everything has changed when I realize that I can't break this barrier called talent. I am stuck at Beastly Spirit Class and barely reach Rank 9 God. To that, my brother has become the Patriarch."
Alex closed his eyes and asked. "Do you regret it and want to become the Patriarch?"
The leopard shook his head. "No. Even at the lowest point, my brother's never left me. I have nothing but love as a family. That's why I feel useless that I can't do anything for my brother. Because of my existence, his position is unstable…Just because of this useless brother, he has lost his smile due to a lot of stress."
Surprisingly, the leopard let out tears. Even his brother, whose head touched the floor while prostrating, cried. Just like the leopard, his brother shared the same sentiment. Despite their father scrutinizing him because he couldn't catch up in the early progress, he was born alone, having no one to rely on.
But his talented brother kept coming and taking care of him. Their father continuously scolded him for doing such behavior, yet, the latter said that a family should be together, no matter what they needed to face.
That pure familial love continued even after all things had turned upside down.
"Is that so?" Alex made a genuine and warm smile, knowing what he had gone through. "Even in that situation, you don't give up and reach Rank 9 God. I believe that is also a charm on its own. That's why…"
Alex put his hands on the leopard as his Spirit Crown appeared above his head.
"Don't fight it, alright?" Alex's soothing voice calmed the leopard down as he closed his eyes, accepting anything that Alex bestowed on him.
Meanwhile, Alex got a vision. It was under the moonlight that two leopard cubs were walking together with a smile on their face. They cuddled with each other to fight the cold wind. The two leopards started to change into a human with beast parts on their body before each of them turned into a complete humanoid form.
In the end, he found many monsters coming toward them, but they stood each other and raised their fists. They exchanged looks with a smile and said. "Brother. Whatever happens, I will watch your back and you will watch mine. I am glad to have a brother like you."
The two then charged at the monsters without fear nor regret. Everything was filled with smiles, even when they died after fighting so many monsters.
Alex closed his eyes and smiled as he opened his mouth. "Awaken. Zeiss."
The leopard soon got enveloped in blinding light as it slowly turned into a human shape.
When people witnessed this, they dropped their jaw to the ground and had no words in their minds. They were completely speechless.
The leopard who was supposed to be a Beastly Spirit turned not into the Demi-human Class but to the Humanoid Class Spirit. In other words, he just skipped rank like nobody's business.
Even Edgar looked at everyone before noticing the change in his body. He tried to reach his head and found no tail and ears, knowing that he had become the most respected form.
Alex smiled, retracted his Spirit Crown, and covered Edgar's naked body with a mantle while saying, "You and your brother may use Zeiss as your family name. Just like what you wish, you now have the power to support your brother. Keeps supporting him like how he supports me. Can you do that?"
At this point, Edgar couldn't control his tears anymore. He banged the ground with his head. "I offer my life to Your Majesty and Eulja. Long Live Your Majesty, the Spirit King. Long Live Spirit World, the great Eulja."
His brother next to him noticed that transformation and was still in deep shock.
Alex waved his hand and rose from the floor before returning to his seat. He raised his hand as the signal to the old man.
The old man walked to the stage and announced like a minister. "I am happy to announce that His Majesty, the Spirit King, has once again surpassed the boundary of our knowledge. He has advanced the Spirit Crown to the very pinnacle of what we know as Divine Technique.
"Other than improving one's technique like the Spirit Crown in the past, which also has been significantly improved, His Majesty can bestow a power to allow any Spirit Class below the Humanoid Spirit Class to instantly reach the Humanoid Spirit Class.
"On the other hand, those who are considered Humanoid Spirit Class will gain their True Spirit Body in that very instant. This is a blessing for Eulja, every spirit in Eulja, and all of our citizens.
"Hence, I proudly declare that there will be a tournament every ten years for a few people to receive this blessing. To ensure fairness to every single person, there will be five cycles of the tournament: Fighting Tournament, Specialty Tournament for Array Masters and such, Another Fighting Tournament for every citizen other than the spirit, Lower Class Tournament, and Special Class Tournament.
"We will hold these five tournaments in a cycle, allowing us to reach every nook and corner of our great territories as well as ensuring fairness to all races!"
Everyone was deeply in shock. The Lower Spirit Class, who had no humanoid form, thought that they had the chance to change their life completely as long as they showed they were worthy. Those who already had humanoid form believed they needed the True Spirit Body to gain more power.
Those outside Eulja who were watching this thought they had the chance to upgrade their Original Skill. The Spirit Crown had been famous for its otherworldly enhancement after all.
This sent a vibration not only in Eulja but also the planets in their territory.
"Long Live Your Majesty, the Spirit King." The first one to shout was Edgar. He had experienced it first hand, making him believe that was possible.
That shout woke up all the people watching the procession and roared in unison.
"Long Live Your Majesty, the Spirit King."
Even though only a few out of millions could attain such a thing, they still had the chance. Just like Edgar…No, Edgar was the most important point.
If Alex didn't show his power first, no one would believe him. They would just doubt whether the Spirit Crown was just an imitation or not.
However, seeing that effect with their own eyes, not only they believed it was the real Spirit Crown, they believed that once Alex achieved God King Stage, he would surpass the previous Spirit God.
Unfortunately, that joyous atmosphere didn't last long.
Bang.
Someone slammed open the door as the noise silenced the entire excitement. A black-haired spirit intruded the coronation and kneeled in front of him. "Pardon me!! Apologies for intruding but… but…"
Everyone quickly looked at the man in confusion. They had more or less the same thought.
'What was that man doing in the middle of the ceremony?'
"We've received an urgent report! An army of a hundred thousand, consisting of God Rank Experts and Martial Saints, belonging to what we believe is the Array God's army has just moved toward the Beast Kingdom, where Her Highness Sherry is, and plan to destroy the whole kingdom, including enslaving Her Highness Sherry."
"!!!" Everyone knew that Rose here was just a replacement because the real one was in the Beast Kingdom.
Alex opened his mouth in surprise because he had no information regarding this matter. Obviously, he didn't know, Lin Xingzhi and Korzan hid the information because they shared the same idea as Sherry. They wanted to see the pure reaction coming from Alex and the spirits to know whether the two were aligned.
"What did you say?!" Alex's expression darkened.
The Spirits could see Alex wasn't lying or staging this kind of emergency. Their heart had mixed feelings right now, not knowing what to say until Edgar once again broke the silence.
"Your Majesty. This lowly Spirit might only be able to help you by a small amount, but I am ready to offer my life to rescue Her Highness, Queen Sherry."
That shout broke the laughter of the man known as the Fire Elemental God, Agnis.
"Hahaha! This is hilarious. To think there is someone foolish enough to harm someone from Eulja. In the past, we killed trillions to warn trillions of trillions of lives. Yet, after five thousand years, it seems they have forgotten that the tiger is just sleeping, not dead.
"Your Majesty, in this joyous occasion, we shall pulverize them to show what it means to step on the tiger's neck!" Agnis suddenly kneeled on one knee and cupped his hands. "I, Agnis, will follow Your Majesty to the battle."
The other Elemental Gods and Five Guardians saw his action and quickly dropped to the ground while cupping their hands. "We will follow Your Majesty to the battle."
This action invited a series of reactions from all people watching, but most of them instantly dropped on their knees, following what the Elemental Gods and Guardians did. Even the ten Commandants instinctively fell on their knees even though they were not here.
Agnis smiled when he sensed this as he raised his head. That silence broke with a sincere voice that touched everyone's heart.
"We, Eulja, choose to fight."
