"Let's continue our discussion then." Alex smiled.
Rhadon was the first to open his mouth, recounting everything they discussed previously.
"I know. I will go to that place soon after visiting my wives." Alex nodded as he was curious about this place that had direct access to the planet's core.
"In that case, let's continue to the other two topics. First of all, we want to decide how much we are going to be involved with Your Excellency. Of course, we are eager to help you, but it doesn't mean that we don't treasure our lives. I ask for Your Excellency's understanding."
"Don't worry. I have no plan in having you sacrifice yourself." Alex waved his hand. "Every decision I make will always come after a series of thoughts."
"I understand. In that case, we don't need to worry about it anymore." Rhadon nodded. "For the time being, let's agree that we have the right to refuse and only help you if we deem it not too dangerous. Will that be fine?"
"Yes. At least, make sure that you know about my plan as well, so you can consider whether the mission will be worth the effort or not."
"It shall be that way." Rhadon nodded with a serious expression. "And we would like to limit our participation to once or twice every decade because we would like to hide our existences and power. I am sure that the world will go crazy if they know that the former Fire God's God Beasts are still alive."
"Of course. I am in the same situation, so I perfectly understand your feelings. I don't think there will be a huge movement for the time being, so you don't need to worry. And I would like to ask about the way to contact you. Do I just need to come to this place?"
"Unfortunately, yes. Maybe, you can build a Teleportation Formation that allows you to reach this place in an instant."
"In that case, I will send Zark here to build it. Is that fine?" Alex asked.
"Yes. Just build it near one of our training spots, so you don't need to send a person here, only a letter, and we will immediately know it."
"Good." Alex nodded in agreement. He was satisfied with this term. "There is another thing I want to ask. Does any of you know about the phoenixes and the other "weapons" the beast had?"
"Let me explain that because I was with my king back then." The monkey raised his hand. "Because of my character, I followed my king to fight the phoenix and watched him from afar.
"In one word, I can confidently say that the phoenix was the same as Godly Pure Fire. It used the power of a star, making it immortal. Of course, the flame didn't affect my king, so the fight turned into a full brawl.
"Unfortunately, my king had been weakened after relieving our contract, so he was at a disadvantage. After fighting for so long, my king decided to end the battle by sacrificing his life.
"Using the last bit of his life, he changed the Godly Pure Fire to another form, allowing him to surpass the phoenix's flame for a moment and burned it before it could recover.
"At the same time, my king used a portion of his power to force the sun to explode, allowing him to kill the other phoenixes in the area."
Alex suddenly felt something was wrong. "But from another source, I happen to know that there were three God Kings that didn't participate in the last battle. They were Sword God, Fire God, and myself."
"My Lord never intended to participate in the fight. Only when he knew that you were going to fight the beast that he participated and killed the phoenixes to prevent it from reaching you. The phoenix was the most stubborn one after all."
Alex closed his eyes for a few seconds, knowing that Alaya didn't lie to him. Instead, she already escaped from the battlefield when the phoenix killed the God King in their side. "Is there any weakness that I can exploit?"
"I am not sure, but I think it's better to allow someone with different power to fight the phoenix. The Sword God or even the Time God might be able to handle the phoenix better. It just… My king thought that he could suppress the phoenix, so he went alone. The others also believed in him, albeit it cost him his life."
"I see. I will let someone handle the phoenix then."
Since Alex also had a Pure Fire, he thought he should let the others handle it.
"Still, if we have the chance, we would like to fight alongside this group, so we can avenge our master. We know that this is not the best strategy, but this is our utmost request. We can't afford to have our master die in the past without being able to make them suffer."
"I understand. I am planning to kill the Six Weapons first before dealing with the beast, but seeing how secretive they are, I am afraid that I can only eliminate a few. For now, I am pursuing the Bat and the Phoenix. How about all of you help me search for them?" Alex asked.
The God Beasts looked eager to do it but still turned to Rhadon, waiting for his decision.
"I understand. Myra and I will stay in this world to take care of the communication with my king and maintain this world. The rest of you can help with the investigation. However, it's better to coordinate with Eulja instead of doing it alone."
The others nodded in agreement and lowered their heads to Alex. "We will be in your care."
"I will have another team to help you in this, so I can make sure that you all not expose yourself this soon." Alex agreed and gave them a hand to fulfill their wish.
"We are grateful," Rhadon replied. "Of course, we will rush back if Your Excellency needs our help."
"Yeah."
"How about the other weapons?"
"I only have knowledge about four of them. Since you already know about the Bat and Phoenix, I will explain everything I know about the Angel and Dragon. The Angel looks like a human with wings. That's simple.
"However, I know that they could boost each other up. Although they didn't have that much combative power, you can say that they were still too strong. The most relatable example will be Lin Xingzhi combined with your Light Elemental God. What was his name again? Rilt?"
"Yeah." Alex thought for a moment and sighed. "That sounds troublesome. Do you know anything about their habitat or something?"
"Unfortunately, no. We only know the phoenix's habitat since we have been researching their power. They are living in the stars, so we should look around that area. Of course, they are scattered all around the universe, so we have no confidence in killing every single of them until the right time."
"That's fine. I just want to reduce their number as much as possible, allowing us to have an easier time to fight them."
Rhadon nodded. "Then, I will move to the second one, the dragon. Just like the others, they are different from the dragon we know in this universe. The dragon usually has multiple heads, allowing them to wield more than one element. Other than that, we only know that this Dragon Power is actually the one that allows the Almighty Beast to use more than one element like the Spirit God."
"I see." Alex looked down.
Couldn't contain her curiosity, Rose raised her hand and asked, "May I know who fought who?"
"!!!" Alex almost forgot to ask this. He patted Rose's head and thanked her. "Good question, Rose."
"Ehehe."
Rhadon recalled the fight first and opened his mouth. "Time God and Dungeon God fought together. With the power of Space and Time, they killed the Dragon and three Bats. I heard that Life and Death Goddess were supposed to be the one dealing with the dragon, but we heard she fell in battle, forcing the two God Kings to deal with four of them. Bow God fought against the phoenix and fell in battle, resulting in our lord to step forward."
"So, when he came, only a few God Kings remained?"
"Yes."
"Now that makes more sense." Alex nodded in agreement.
"War Goddess teamed up with the Array God and fought against the two Bears and the snake. From what we heard, the snake could fuse together with the bear, but we couldn't prove it, so this was just hearsay."
"I see."
"The Ice God fought against the last Bat and the Angel. Due to the fact that they outnumbered us, most of our God Kings decided to sacrifice their lives to destroy them. Luckily, they seemed not to have the same condition as us. We can expect there is no suicide attack or something."
"That's good news." Alex let out a long sigh. "This is going to be troublesome."
"Yes. However, if we can deal with the Bats, our situation will improve significantly."
"Agreed. For now, we should spend more effort in the investigation."
"Yes. Besides, we should be looking out for humans too."
"Why?" Alex tilted his head in confusion.
"The two bears were former humans on Earth."
"What?!" Alex drew a gasp. "Were they promised power or something?"
"From the look of it, yes." Rhadon nodded.
"This makes the problem even more complicated." Alex let out a long sigh, feeling the headache just to create a plan against them. "For now, I only have Blackwade Clan as the support. Probably, another God King is known as the Palm God, who happened to be Silvia's Father. Other than that, I don't know whether we can gather more."
Alex thought that if he stretched it as far as he could, he could create three God Kings from his retainer. Of course, it required him to extort Blackwade Clan for that. After considering a few things, he believed that he could convince Song Jiao to lend it to him.
This meant they had four or five God Kings in their rank alone, excluding him who needed to deal with the beast.
In that case, he really needed at least five more to be safe.
"Haiz. I will be able to see this matter more thoroughly after ascending the throne." Alex shook his head, brushing the thought away. "Anyway, I want you to focus on the task first."
"I understand." Rhadon nodded.
"Alright. I think that's all."
"Then for the Universe Oath…" Rhadon paused, wondering if Alex had thought of it.
"The agreement will be this. You shall assist me until we win against the beast. Failure is not acceptable anymore because we can't afford history to repeat itself. After that, you all are free and I will also help you if necessary in the future.
"You can reject the task I have given to you after putting serious thought into my plan and other things. How's that?"
"I think it's fine. We will only do the task every five years, but I guess it is included in the second term." Rhadon nodded and roared to the sky.
"By Heaven and Earth as my witness, I, Rhadon, shall honor this agreement in the name of my lord, Fire God Phitrus. If I were to break this oath, my name shall be erased from history as one of his God Beasts."
Listening to his oath, the other God Beasts followed it word to word.
After that, Alex raised his hand and swore. "By Heaven and Earth as my witness, I, Alexander Sirius, shall honor this agreement. If I were to break this oath, I will be punished for all eternity."
They looked at each other and nodded, ending their discussion.
"In that case, I will be enjoying my time here first before training." Alex smiled and waved his hand. He grabbed Rose's waist as he brought her to the sky. "See you later."
Before he left, Rhadon handed a compass. "Your Excellency, this is the compass to that place. When you are ready, just follow this compass and you will reach it without our assistance."
Alex grabbed the compass and nodded. "Thanks."
