"We now want to talk about what happened to the conglomerate Xi Family that has suddenly disappeared from the trace of this world. We invite a host from the military," said a host to the man beside him with a serious expression.
"Thank you for inviting me here, I am honored to talk about this."
"First, do you have a thought about this matter?"
"Of course, not only the police but the military also helps the investigation. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any clues this whole time and the reason why the house can disappear in a single day. From the eye witness, they pass the mansion in the morning, and it's still there, but when they return in the afternoon, everything has gone."
"People believe it as a Divine Punishment. Do you believe it as well?"
"Of course not. I admit that this is rather magical, but I don't want to say it's a Divine Punishment. We already have a group of scientists to find any clue to prove it, so we need more time for the investigation because this is the first time an accident like this happens in the world."
"There is also something I have heard before. In the past four weeks, there was an increase in magical things happening lately. The first one would be regarding the Xi Family, which seems to be the start. According to the Xi family's remaining members, they don't want to disclose it because of family reasons. Does the army happen to know something about this secret?"
"We have tried asking them a few times, but unfortunately, there is nothing that can lead us to the culprit."
"If this is a Divine Intervention, wouldn't it be rude to call such a being a culprit? Besides, there are many people that have started praying and believing that God has descended upon us to correct many things."
"There is no proof about that. We can talk about other religions. They at least have the most basic proof, which is their "bible," so we couldn't say it's such."
The host remembered something. "I believe we have a few living proofs. For example, the X Country's Princess said she saw someone riding a dragon to travel the sea and help her when they are stuck in a storm and a few others that have spread all over the internet."
"As I said before, there is no proof. If you want to talk about it, please give us the proof. If we just believe in people's statements, it will become a complete mess."
"But the reason they couldn't give any proof was the fact that their phones or cameras got destroyed automatically the moment they tried to take a picture of him. Doesn't this mean that God will only show himself to those he has chosen?"
As the debate between the reporter and the military guy continued, the one who created this whole mess, Alex, was leaning on his beach couch while enjoying the cool breeze and the clapping sound of the breaking wave. He wore only a trunk and sunglasses, sitting comfortably under an umbrella.
Next to him, Silvia was laughing when looking at the news with her tablet that she bought from the money she got from helping people. She wore a white bikini that complemented her grey hair.
"This is really hilarious. I mean, you can be considered a God and they are not wrong for that, but the military guy is so adamant about it having no proof."
Alex looked away, embarrassed. "I met too many people while searching for treasures. It's true that I can find many legends and treasures all over the world, but it has become too much."
"So, did the princess want to marry you or something? Hmm, marrying a God…" Silvia smirked, planning to tease him about it.
"No. That girl was weird."
"What weird? There is literally an article about how she adores and worships you."
"No, no. Do you know what she said to me for the first time?"
"What?"
"Give me your seed."
"Pfft." Silvia laughed out loud.
"Enough. Lin Xingzhi had laughed too much to the point she made a story about it and bothered me for three full days." Alex twitched his eyebrows. "That's a nightmare."
"True. For you, it's a nightmare. For the people in this world, it's like a dream comes true." Silvia laughed.
"So, what happened to Axis?" Alex glanced at her with a serious expression.
"Nothing happened." Silvia tilted her head in confusion. "Why? Do you find something weird in his body?"
"No, no. Why is he not playing around?" Alex pointed his finger at Axis, who was sitting on the side, reading a book.
"Why do I need to play around? It's better to study, so I can get closer to my goal quicker."
"You should know how to relax too, Kid. The stress will slowly pile up, so it's best to enjoy every vacation like this from time to time." Alex shrugged.
"I feel more comfortable reading a book than playing." Axis shook his head.
"Look. What happened to this kid? Did he use the wrong medicine?" Alex glared at Silvia.
"Pfft." Silvia laughed. "I didn't do anything. When I was teaching him, he got too absorbed into something and became like this the next day."
Alex shook his head helplessly. "How about we play? I have a game for you."
"I am sorry, Mister, but I should focus on training and study first."
"Then, you can consider this a training. How about it?" Alex smirked. "I can show it to you."
Axis tilted his head in confusion.
"Do you know how to defeat the strong when you are weak?"
Axis thought for a moment. "A strong Martial Art, Poison, Curse, and Assassins."
"Ahaha… That's certainly right, but you might not have it when you fight the strong. Hence, I am going to teach you the fifth way. It's control."
"Control?"
"Yep. For example, I have a fire element. If I control it to burn my opponent's attacks, I can at least weaken it to a certain level where I can destroy the attack before it reaches me. Or I can concentrate my power at one point to break through something."
Axis finally understood and nodded. "Control, huh."
"Yes. Today's training will be in the form of playing." Alex waved his hand as he used his Spiritual Energy to lift the sand, shaping them into a sandcastle. "This is control. I want you to make a sandcastle with your Spiritual Energy, not your hands. Can you do it?"
Axis thought for a moment and nodded. "I will try."
"Now, go!" Alex smiled as he managed to influence this kid.
Suddenly, a golem made of sand punched his castle as Silvia's voice resounded in their ears. "What did you teach my student?"
Alex blinked his eyes a few times when he saw his castle got obliterated by that punch. Luckily, he had sunglasses, so no sand came to his eyes from the collision.
"I am just teaching him how to get stronger. Besides, if he can control his Spiritual Energy, he can perform all your skills better, no?" Alex snorted as he had seen how Silvia treated someone. Everything was related to the control of her energy, so it was indeed good training where you could also play with it.
"It's true, but…"
"But what?!" Alex summoned the same golem as her and punched her golem's stomach, destroying it.
"You…" Silvia clenched her teeth as the sand beneath Alex's golem rose to the air, slicing his golem.
"Do you want to fight?" Alex twitched his eyebrows.
"Hmph. You will lose." Silvia harrumphed.
The two began their fight while Axis could only shake his head and began making his own castle, which was significantly smaller than them. He realized that despite having the same amount of energy, their control was far better than him, so he decided to follow Alex's instructions.
Just like that, the three spent the remaining days on a deserted island, far from the civilizations. Even with the world being in an uproar, everything should begin to settle down after leaving this world.
There might be more stories to tell, but nothing concrete would happen again.
Before leaving this world, Alex got a message from Lin Xingzhi.
[I have actually gotten something for you.]
"Hmm?" Alex narrowed his eyes.
[It's related to the bats you found.]
"What happened? What kind of bat were they?"
[We still can't understand them, but we have made sure that they are artificially created. After we have gotten more information, I think we can deduct what it is… For now, everything is only a hypothesis.]
"At least you have a guess, right?"
[Yes. Do you remember why almost all God Kings died at the hand of the people from Earth?"
"No. You never told me about it other than their power came from the so-called secret weapon."
[Exactly. What I want to say is that.]
"They are related to the beast?" Alex narrowed his eyes.
[I am afraid yes. I have a few samples that my father froze in a certain place, so I want you to bring them for me.]
"Your Father?" Alex widened his eyes.
[As you know, my father told me all his possessions in his inheritance place, but he told me to only bring something I need from there and only come there if I want another thing. And my father is one of the people who see the future prediction, you know.]
"!!!" Alex gasped. "Your father knows something?"
[I am not sure, but there is a possibility.]
"So, you want me to get it for you?" Alex narrowed his eyes. "If this is an inheritance palace, wouldn't it make you the best person to go there?"
[Yes, but I believe there might be benefits if you go to that place. Of course, I will be accompanying you.]
"If you are coming, then I don't really mind. When do you need it?" Alex asked.
[Now?]
"Will it take too long? If yes, then I will grab Letizia and the others first."
[You can bring them with us. In fact, I am going to their place right now. Meet me around that planet.]
"Alright." Alex nodded.
[See you later then.]
Alex then thought for a moment and looked at Axis and Silvia. "I wonder if you don't mind another trip?"
"I don't mind." Silvia shrugged. "I don't have anything to do anyway."
"As long as it doesn't mess with my study schedule." Axis nodded in agreement.
"Your disciple has become a nerd…" Alex glanced.
"But he will be a handsome man in a few years. And this type of guy is popular among the women, you know," said Silvia nonchalantly as if she didn't mind his development.
"Okay, let's go to meet my disciple and wives first before finding Lin Xingzhi."
"What? Are we going to meet her?" Silvia drew a gasp.
"Yes, why?" Alex tilted his head in confusion. "You don't want to meet her?"
"Of course, I would love to meet her, but I wonder if it's alright…" Silvia looked down.
"It's fine. She has been talking about you a lot." Alex shrugged and snapped his finger. After checking their expression one more time, he activated the Teleportation Array.
It didn't take too long until they reached the Sword Pavilion. After thanking for taking care of the three, Alex brought them outside the planet, where he found Lin Xingzhi with Zark waiting for them to arrive.
Silvia still hesitated to meet this brown-haired beauty. Before she was Alex's wife, she was also a God King. With Silvia's current status, she thought she should talk politely.
However, before anyone could react, Lin Xingzhi already grabbed Silvia's boobs, examining them. "Hmm…I thought you used your skill to increase the volume, but I was wrong."
"Wha—" Silvia shivered, not understanding what was happening.
"Say, is there a medicinal technique that can enhance one's sensitivity like they were on the drug but without it? It's not for us, but for him." Lin Xingzhi smirked, planning to bully Alex with it.
"…" Alex twitched his eyebrows when he heard it as he pondered whether letting the two met was a correct choice or the worst possible decision.
