Chapter 312 : Chapter 312 : Bobby’s Melancholy Mood
The flight to Linton City landed at Linton Haneda Airport three hours later.
There was already a car waiting for them outside the airport. As soon as they exited the airport, the driver quickly helped them put their luggage in the trunk and then respectfully opened the car door, saying, “Young Master Lawrence, please get in.”
Baron Lawrence still had a dolled-up child in his arms. The little fellow’s big, bright eyes were exceptionally beautiful. Although he was only five years old, one could already see his future potential to cause trouble. At this moment, the child’s eyes rolled between the driver and Baron Lawrence, and his rosy little mouth puckered up.
It seems that the Dubious Man next door is very rich.
His little eyes glanced at his mommy, sizing her up from head to toe, and suddenly couldn’t help but sigh.
How could his woman, with a flat chest and flat butt, poor and foolish, catch a highly eligible bachelor like the Dubious Man next door?
At the age of five, Tobias Clark experienced a feeling called melancholy for the first time in his life.
Enna Clark heard him sigh and touched his face curiously, asking, “Bobby, what’s wrong? Are you car sick?”
“How could I be car sick?”
“Then… air sickness? I remember you have a fear of heights, just got airsick?”
Why did his woman always belittle him in front of the Dubious Man? Tobias puffed up his rosy little cheeks indignantly and muttered, “No!”
Baron Lawrence bent down to put him in the car and then sat down, reaching out to touch his forehead, his eyes focused, “Airsick?”
Bobby was still a bit embarrassed facing him, so he pursed his lips, glared at the ‘culprit’ who’d exposed him, lowered his head, and shyly nodded. Baron Lawrence turned to the driver and ordered, “Drive slower later.”
The driver took a sneak peek at Bobby in the rearview mirror, extremely astonished. Not quite understanding who this strange little kid was and why their short-tempered young master would be so kind to a child. Despite his astonishment, he dared not inquire or even sneak a longer glance, removing his gaze and feigning calm, “Yes, Young Master Lawrence.”
Enna Clark also got in the car, putting Bobby on her lap, and pressed her fingers against his temples, gently massaging him, “Bobby, let me help you press your head. Close your eyes and rest on mommy for a while.”
“Mhm.” Tobias still liked his woman best. The pain in his temples eased, and he obediently leaned against Enna Clark, closing his eyes…
The car moved smoothly down the road. Before long, it stopped in front of a majestic building.
“Young Master Lawrence, we have arrived.”
“Shh.” The cold and distinguished man gestured for him to be quiet, opened the door lightly, and asked Enna Clark, “Is he asleep?”
“Yes, the baby rarely travels by plane, he must be tired.” Enna Clark lowered her voice, holding the little person in her arms, her eyes gentle. Baron Lawrence reached out to her, “Let me hold him.”
“Alright.”
Baron Lawrence carefully took the sleeping child into his arms. Though his movements were stiff, it was obvious that he tried to adjust his position to make the little one in his arms more comfortable.
“Let’s go.”
Enna Clark got out of the car and followed his footsteps.
People were watching them all the way.
After all, there was nothing more eye-catching than a cool, handsome man who entered like a star, holding a child in his arms….
